  • Strip Field - Grass between Lazier field and Church St.

Team Communication

  • Daily Communication: Practice times and locations for all levels will be announced by 2 pm daily via TALKING POINTS. 

  • Please make sure you and your player have downloaded the Talking Points App and have it ready prior to the start of the season.

Outdoor Practice: 

  • Weather permitting (dry, 25 - 30°F +, clear field), practices will be held outdoors at Lazier and Robert Crown. 
  • Grass availability begins after Spring Break starting 3/31/25.

Player Preparation:

  • All players must be prepared daily for both indoor and outdoor practices.
  • Please review the pre-season checklist.

Tryout Schedule

  • Locations will be announced closer to the date, due to weather and field availability at ETHS.

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Stick Skills & Fundamentals (Passing, catching, shooting, ground balls).
  • Lacrosse IQ & Decision-Making (Reads, reaction, movement, spacing).
  • Athleticism, Strength & Conditioning (Speed, endurance, agility).
  • Effort & Coach-ability (Hustle, listening, adaptability).
  • Team Play & Communication (Leadership, unselfish play).
  • Game & Situational Play.
  • Fitness Test: 440 & 12 Min 2 Mile.

Preseason Checklist

If you haven't done so already. Now is the time to make sure all your ducks are in a row and you are ready and able to play this season.

PLAYERS THAT DO NOT HAVE THESE THINGS DONE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND TRYOUTS UNTIL ALL ARE FULFILLED. We will not accept late registrations.

Player Checklist:

  • Stick: All players must have a short stick. D-poles included.
  • NO frayed strings or sidewalls
  • Screw in head
  • NO broken plastic
  • Butt end covering
  • Okayed by Coach Geron or Coach Curtis

Equipment Checklist:

  • Helmet (We can provide)
  • Mouth Guard
  • Shoulder and Elbow pads
  • Gloves
  • Sneakers and Cleats
  • Blue, Gray, Orange, or White Practice Gear
  • Practice jerseys will be distributed at tryouts
  • NO PAJAMA PANTS
  • Water bottle. There will be NO WATER AVAILABLE outside before spring break.
